Laboratoires de Chalk River
Les Laboratoires de Chalk River (LCR) d’EACL sont situés dans la province d’Ontario, à 190 km au nord-ouest d’Ottawa, la capitale nationale du Canada. Les LCR s’étendent sur 3 700 hectares (9 100 acres) le long de la rivière des Outaouais. The site has unique capabilities in expertise and specialized facilities that support key federal nuclear science and technology priorities: innovation for industry, safety, security, health, environmental and clean energy technologies. 
Outre les plus de 2 700 employés permanents aux LCR, EACL emploie des participants au programme de travail coopératif. EACL possède également un programme d’emplois d’été dynamique.

Laboratoires de Whiteshell
Les Laboratoires de Whiteshell d’EACL, located 100 km northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, was operated from 1961 to 1997. This is where AECL pioneered the development of dry storage containment facilities for used nuclear fuel, a – technology that is now in use throughout the world. The site is now being decommissioned.
